Hunter Krenek Named as

High School Head Coach

Northland Lacrosse is excited to announce Hunter Krenek as its High School Head Coach. Coach Krenek succeeds Sam Gibson (Northland 2010) who is pursuing a larger role with his professional career.

"Our Board conducted a thorough review of candidates and Coach Krenek clearly stood out as the right leader for our young men and the future of our program," stated Northland Lacrosse President Steve Wujek. "He has the experience, integrity and commitment to maintain and achieve our mission of being the best high school lacrosse program in Kansas City – while maintaining our standards of character, competitiveness and development for all Northland Lacrosse players."

"I’m really excited about this opportunity to join an established and competitive high school program,” expressed Krenek. “Coaching against Northland the past few years, I have held a high level of respect for the program. There is talent, depth and a youth pipeline that contributes to sustaining successful, high performing varsity and junior varsity teams. I’m eager to get started and see how far we can push this program to greater levels of success."
